Dr. Chadwick Roberts 

Dr. Chadwick Roberts is an assistant professor in the Communication Studies Department at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He earned his Ph.D. from Bowling Green State University. His research interests include alternative media, comics studies, new media, feminist media, and popular culture in general.

Dr. Roberts teaches a variety of courses including new media, media literacy, rhetorical theory, the rhetoric of popular culture and sexuality and gender.

Dr. Katie Peel

Dr. Katie Peel is an Associate Professor in the English Department at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut. Her research interests include young adult and children's literature, Victorian literature, queer literature and theory, Holocaust literature, and Women's and Gender Studies. When Dr. Peel isn't teaching, researching, or podcasting, you can find her enjoying true crime television and avoiding edamame.
